Sinopec to globalize lubricant business

Sinopec Lubricant Co., a subsidiary of Chinese oil giant Sinopec Corp., will establish a global presence under the trademark Sinopec. The company will focus initially on the Asia-Pacific market. Sinopec will serve all major sea routes with its marine lubricant products within three years and will extend its network to key ports in the world within five years. Parent Sinopec Corp. has operations in more than 40 countries, following a global strategy which it launched in 2004. (November 13, 2009)
