Rhein Chemie increases prices for lubricant oil additives

Rhein Chemie Rheinau GmbH, a wholly owned subsidiary of specialty chemicals company LANXESS, is increasing the price for its ADDITIN lubricant oil additives by an average of 8.0% effective August 15.
In a press release, Rhein Chemie said that the “price increase is made necessary by the stark increase in raw material costs along with strongly rising energy and logistics charges.”

Rhein Chemie develops, produces and sells additives, specialty chemicals and service products for the rubber, lubricant and plastics industries.
