Sinopec to provide lubricants to China’s Polar expedition

The China Polar Research Center and Sinopec Lubricant Company signed an agreement to widen their areas of cooperation that will create a risk sharing and win-win strategic partnership. The agreement, signed in Shanghai, is for a period of five years. It provides that Sinopec Lubricant Company will make available comprehensive lubrication services for the ships, expedition station machinery and equipment and the polar inland transport teams of China Polar Research Center. Once the agreement is in place, Sinopec will replace the existing foreign lubricants and grease products. (November 2, 2012)
