Petronas commemorates 100th year of operation through innovative art contest
Malaysia’s Petronas Lubricants International (PLI) commemorated its 100th year of operation by launching the world’s first online digital fluid art platform. Called Fluid Art Movement, PLI said the online initiative could be accessed through www.pli-petronas.com or directly on www.fluidartmovement.com until December 31, 2012.
“We invite participation from around the world to join our Fluid Art Movement in appreciation of fluids. Inject them with colors, splash them onto canvas and show them off as art pieces to be shared with the world,” the company said in a press release.
“Through the campaign, PLI aims to raise the profile of fluids, the substance that the public generally overlooks and takes for granted,” said Amir Hamzah Azizan, the company’s chief executive officer.
