Castrol India to roll out new campaign

Castrol India, a major lubricants player in India, announced that it would be introducing new marketing initiatives this year, which will be geared towards attracting consumers across different segments. Last year, the company spent almost Rs2.15 billion (US$38.7 million) on promotions and advertisements. Castrol India Deputy Head Marketing Saugata Basuray said “Even in a situation of high input costs and currency fluctuation, a brand needs to be consistent in its marketing initiatives. We are doing a lot of activities for our products across segments.” Basuray explained that Castrol India will roll out within the next two months its new campaign for the Castrol Active brand.
