EGCO Group acquires 50% stake In Absolute Power

Electricity Generating Public Company Limited (EGCO), a power generation company in Thailand, acquired a 50% stake in Absolute Power P Company Ltd. Absolute Power P Co., Ltd. owns and operates biodiesel plants. The company is based in Nonthaburi, Thailand. The THB275.5 million (US$8.78 million) project has a total capacity of 300,000 liters per day or 100,000 tons per year. (May 21, 2012)
