Vietnam asks petroleum traders to take responsibility for fuel quality
Vietnam’s Ministry of Industry and Trade requested petroleum traders in the country to take responsibility for the fuels they distribute, following several explosions that destroyed many motorcycles across the country. The explosions were attributed to the poor quality of the fuels used in the motorcycles. State-owned Vietnam Oil and Gas Group (PetroVietnam) responded to the request by saying it will keep a close watch over its fuel distribution network all over the country to ensure that its petroleum products meet quality standards.
