Honda launches hybrid, gas-powered Fit Shuttle wagon

After a four-month delay due to the earthquake and tsunami in Japan, Honda Motor Co. launched its five-seater Fit Shuttle station wagon in Japan.  The new station wagons are economical at between US$22,619 and US$29,117 for the hybrid model and the gas model at between US$20,119 and US$22, 814.  The company has 7,000 orders for the Fit Shuttle models which they expect to be able to fill by August 2011.  Honda has set a goal to sell 4,000 units of the Fit Shuttle each month.  Honda is expected to launch a new hybrid mini-van later this year.
