Vietnam imports up 15.6% from January to May

Vietnam’s Ministry of Industry and Trade said that petroleum product imports rose 15.6% in January to May from the same period a year ago to 5.14 million tons.  The ministry expects this figure to drop as the country’s first oil refinery in Dung Quat ramps up production. Dung Quat is expected to produce 5.187 million tons of petroleum products this year. (June 10, 2011)
