Byco to develop new storage facilities

Byco Petroleum Pakistan Limited (BPPL) said it will develop new storage facilities at MehmoodKot, Machike and Shikarpur, without citing specific numbers.  A company spokesperson said the company has an existing storage capacity of more than 106,000 metric tons, the highest among the new oil marketing entrants, as well as among the highest in the country, he explained. The land procurement for the proposed Machike and MehmoodKot Terminals are in the final stages. The new infrastructure will help improve product availability, the company said. (June 30, 2011)
