MJL Bangladesh forms joint venture with Myanmar's Aung Kyun Thar

MJL Bangladesh Limited, a Bangladesh-based producer of lubricants, has formed a joint venture (JV) with Aung Kyun Thar Co., Ltd., a Myanmar-based trading company engaged in exporting agricultural goods and importing car batteries, tires and lawn mowers.
The JV, known as MJL & AKT Petroleum, Ltd., will market Mobil-branded lubricant products in Myanmar.
The JV was established with an investment of US$1 million, which include an investment of US$0.51 million from MJL Bangladesh and US$0.49 million from Aung Kyun Thar.
MJL Bangladesh was formerly known as Mobil Jamuna Lubricants Limited.
