Castrol gets on Fast and Furious bandwagon

Malaysia’s Castrol has introduced new user-friendly packaging for its entire range of lubricants in conjunction with the brand’s tie-up with the producers of Fast & Furious, the fourth installment of the high-octane Hollywood street racing movie series. The movie is built around high performance and speed and as the official oil for Fast & Furious, Castrol said Castrol Edge is specifically engineered to meet the most extreme performance in prestige and high performance cars, just like those used in the movie. The new packaging, the company emphasized, is designed to be more user-friendly with repositioned handles for easier pouring. In addition, it also features an innovative anti-glugging design for cleaner oil changes. Castrol’s passenger car oil range includes Edge, Magnatec and GTX. The motorcycle oil range includes Power 1, Activ and Race, while Castrol’s commercial vehicle lubricant range includes RX Fuel Saver and CRB. (April 12, 2009)
