Gasoline coupons most favored free gift

Results of a South Korean survey released in April showed that gasoline coupons are the most coveted item for consumers during the current economic downturn. The survey, which included 1,000 respondents, was conducted by CJ Home Shopping via their website. It asked visitors to the site to pick and choose their favorites among 12 item choices. After the coupons, towels ranked second in the results, instant noodles placed third, an olive oil gift set came in fourth and instant coffee mix placed fifth. CJ Home Shopping said it conducted the survey to know how to best serve their customers during these tough times. (April 15, 2009)
