Biofuels roadmap for Sri Lanka proposed

Sri Lanka Energy Managers Association (SLEMA), in association with Winrock International India (WII), under a technical assistance program sponsored by the European Commission has initiated a study program, ProBios, to promote biofuels in the region. The group has launched a road map with five suggested alternative routes to reach the 20% target by 2020. The ProBios project aims to develop national and regional capacity to produce biofuels.
