Indonesia invites global oil companies to sell subsidized fuel
Indonesia’s state-owned oil and gas company Pertamina, Brazil’s Petrobras, France’s Total, Malaysia’s Petronas and Anglo-Dutch major Shell are among 34 companies that have been invited by downstream oil and gas regulator BPH Migas to participate in the tender to sell and distribute subsidized fuel in 2011, a senior official said. The tender will be announced in December this year, the chairman of BPH Migas Tubagus Haryono said. Other companies that have been invited include Indonesia’s Trans-Pacific Petrochemical Indotama, Aneka Kimia Raya Corporindo, Patra Niaga, Medco and Elnusa Petrofin, he said. (June 8, 2010)
