
Gulf Oil and Nayara partnership expands India reach nationwide
Gulf Oil Lubricants India Ltd. has joined forces with Nayara Energy, India’s largest private fuel retailer. This strategic partnership will see Gulf Oil’s comprehensive product range, including premium lubricants and AdBlue®, available across Nayara Energy’s extensive network of more than 6,500 fuel retail outlets nationwide.
Under this three-year agreement, Gulf Oil’s diesel exhaust fluid AdBlue® will be sold at all Nayara fuel stations. Additionally, the partnership will introduce a specialised range of two-wheeler batteries, further strengthening the portfolios of both companies. This collaboration aligns with the rapid expansion of India’s highway infrastructure and the growing demand for reliable automotive products in both urban and rural areas.
Ravi Chawla, managing director and CEO of Gulf Oil Lubricants, highlighted the significance of the partnership, stating: “Our partnership with Nayara Energy is a significant step forward in expanding Gulf’s presence across India’s highways and fuel stations. Lubes are an essential category in our NFR (Non-Fuel Retail) offerings and our commitment to grow this category is visible from the Quick Lube Change Bays we have incorporated in our Retail Outlet. These Quick Lube Change Bays are equipped with advanced machinery that enables lube change in less than five minutes and this service is provided free of charge at our outlets.”
Gulf Oil operates in more than 100 countries and is a preferred partner for more than 40 original equipment manufacturers (OEMs). The partnership with Nayara Energy represents a strategic move to penetrate deeper into India’s automotive market while addressing the needs of a burgeoning highway segment.
