Valvoline unveils new synthetic gear oil for enhanced protection

Valvoline Global Operations has introduced its latest innovation, the Extended Protection Full Synthetic Gear Oil, designed to provide premium protection against gear wear. This new gear oil, available in SAE 75W-90 and SAE 75W-140 grades, offers superior performance in extreme conditions, with four times better wear protection compared to the company’s Daily Protection Gear Oil. The product is the brand’s first-ever super premium full synthetic gear oil to hit the market.

Engineered for passenger cars and light-duty trucks, Valvoline’s Extended Protection Full Synthetic Gear Oil is specially formulated to withstand high temperatures, shock loading, and high-torque conditions. It includes anti-foam agents for improved lubrication and friction modifiers to enhance limited slip clutch performance, ensuring optimised vehicle performance.

In response to customer demand for convenience, Valvoline has packaged this gear oil in its patented FLEXFILL™ bag, making it easier to use in compact spaces and allowing for efficient fluid dispensing. The product is available for purchase at selected retailers and online.

Jean-Claude Duho, technical original equipment manager at Valvoline, highlighted that the gear oil was developed with customer needs in mind, combining advanced protection and easy handling.
