Ergon Refining acquires Vicksburg Fuels Terminal

Ergon Refining Inc. has completed the acquisition of a fuels terminal in Vicksburg, Mississippi, U.S.A. The fuels terminal was previously owned by CITGO Petroleum Corporation. Starting mid-September 2023, the facility is set to offer a comprehensive range of gasoline and diesel fuel products.

Kirk Latson, senior vice president of fuels marketing for Ergon, expressed enthusiasm about the acquisition. “This purchase allows us to extend our reach in the wholesale fuels market, covering areas in western Mississippi and eastern Louisiana,” Latson said.

Ergon, a conglomerate of privately-owned companies, operates in diverse sectors, including Energy & Specialty Solutions, Pavement & Coating Resources, Integrated Services & Logistics, and Exploration & Production. Notably, Ergon Refining Inc. stands out as a global frontrunner in producing specialty naphthenic base oils. Another significant arm, Ergon – West Virginia Inc., is renowned for manufacturing Group I and Group II paraffinic base oils. Their product offerings encompass HyGold base oils, HyPrene process oils, HyVolt dielectric fluids, and HyPrint ink oils.
