SONGWON Industrial announces departure of Elena Scaltritti
SONGWON Industrial Co., Ltd. announced that Elena Scaltritti, leader Group Commercial, based in Switzerland, will be leaving the organization to pursue another professional opportunity outside the SONGWON Group. She will join Haldor Topsoe as chief commercial officer.
Headquartered in South Korea, SONGWON is the second largest manufacturer of polymer stabilizers worldwide and offers a very broad range of specialty chemicals. SONGWON provides chemical products for a wide variety of sectors and industries, including packaging, automotive, building & construction, agriculture, textiles and fibers, coatings, adhesives, durable & consumer goods, lubricants, and electric and electronic industries.
An Executive Committee member since April 2019, Scaltritti has held various key positions within the company. She joined the company in 2011 as manager, Main Accounts, going on to become director of sales, Greater Europe, in 2013. In 2015, she became the leader of the Polymer Stabilizer Business. In 2019, she was appointed leader of the Industrial Chemicals Division. She joined the Group Executive Committee in 2021 when she was appointed to lead Group Commercial and chief sustainability officer.
Her successor will be announced at a later date.
Scaltritti, who holds a BSc in Organic Chemistry from the University of Milan and an MBA from MIB Business Scholl Politecnico in Milan, Italy, will join Haldor Topsoe no later than July 1, 2022.
