Zhejiang province adopts GBIII gasoline
Zhejiang province in China’s eastern coastal area has adopted province-wide state standard GBIII gasoline, a cleaner gasoline with less emission, since the beginning of 2010. A Sinopec source said 80% of the company’s oil service stations in Zhejiang had completed the upgrade from previous GBII gasoline to cleaner GBIII gasoline. The production of GBIII gasoline will be considerably more expensive than GBII, but the retail selling price will remain unchanged despite higher production costs of GBIII gasoline. (January 4, 2010)
