FACTBOX-State-regulated fuel prices across Asia

Both India and Sri Lanka raised pump prices this week, following moves by Vietnam, Pakistan and China, to track a rally in global oil prices. India lifted prices by as much as 10% while Sri Lanka’s rise was up to 8.3%. Vietnam, which last raised pump prices three weeks ago, increased retail rates by more than 5%, while Pakistan upped rates by up to 12%. (July 2, 2009)
