LyondellBasell launches online polyolefins business

On Nov. 18, 2008, U.S. chemical manufacturer LyondellBasell Industries announced the launch of Alastian, its no-frills online polyolefins business, in China, India and Vietnam. The Web-based channel offers an easy, convenient and reliable new way to buy high-quality PP and PE. Alastian customers have access to a broad range of prime polypropylene (PP), high-density polyethylene (HDPE) and low-density polyethylene grades (LDPE) at competitive prices, with trimmed-down service levels.
