Sea-Land Chemical and Lockhart Chemical announce distribution partnership expansion
Lockhart Chemical Company announced the expansion of the distribution partnership with Sea-Land Chemical Company to include the U.S. states of Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Minnesota, Missouri and Wisconsin. With the addition of these states, Sea-Land became the authorized distributor across all of North America for the entire Lockhart portfolio of additives and packages for the lubricants market. The updated distribution agreement goes into effect on 1 May 2020.
Based in Flint, Michigan, U.S.A., Lockhart has been manufacturing additives for functional fluids and coatings since 1982. Lockhart technologies include wax and petrolatum oxidates and their esters and soaps, sodium, calcium and barium sulfonates, rust preventatives and corrosion inhibitors, gelled calcium sulfonates and metalworking processing additives. Lockhart Chemical also provides manufacturing under tolling agreements with several companies marketing to underbody coatings, metalworking additives, paint and coatings, hydraulic fluids and lubricants.
Sea-Land Chemical Company, based in Westlake, Ohio, U.S.A., is a global distributor of specialty raw materials and additive chemical technologies with warehouse locations throughout the US, Canada and Europe.

Products in the Lockhart range of products include the EZ Mulz™, Counter Rust™, Lubristay™, Cuprisan™ and Coolsurf™ brands of rust preventatives additives and packages, corrosion inhibitors and emulsifiers.
