MPR Wins USACE Contract

ALEXANDRIA, Va.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–This week the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) awarded MPR a $48
million, multi-year contract to provide support services to the U.S.
Department of Energy (DOE) and other U.S. Government agencies on behalf
of the USACE. The agreement enables MPR and its subcontractors (Black
and Veatch, Project Time and Cost, Nuclear Consultants and Engineers,
Neptune and Company, and Sandia Technical Solutions) to continue making
important contributions similar to those provided on previous USACE
contracts.

MPR has provided support to the USACE on many projects since 2010.
Through the prior USACE contracts, MPR has made an impact across the DOE
complex, including cleanup at Hanford, new construction at Los Alamos
National Lab, waste processing at Savannah River Site, cleanup at Oak
Ridge National Lab, and system modernization at Waste Isolation Pilot
Plant.

Within the contract, MPR will provide a broad range of engineering
services, particularly nuclear engineering support, delivering strategic
program planning, independent cost and schedule risk assessment of
highly technical, first-of-a-kind construction projects around the DOE
complex.
