LUKOIL Marine Lubricants opens new branch office in Hong Kong

With an increasing market share in Hong Kong and the greater China area, LUKOIL Marine Lubricants has opened a new branch office in Hong Kong. LUKOIL, the leading Russian company in exploring, producing, refining and marketing petroleum products, established LUKOIL Marine Lubricants in 2007 as a global sales and marketing business focusing on the production and sales of marine lubricants worldwide.

Hong Kong has long been held as one of the most important and strategically located maritime hubs in the world. Its position on the Far East trade routes means it is in the geographical centre of the fast-developing Asia-Pacific Basin.

The official opening ceremony was held on May 27, 2016, and was attended by more than 50 guests from Hong Kong and Taiwan, as well as LUKOIL Marineโ€™s Managing Directors June Manoharan and Jan Thiedeitz.

โ€œWith the new office we are taking into account the commercial and economic development of the region and will further strengthen our presence in Asia,โ€ said Manoharan.

โ€œThis way we are even closer to our customers in Hong Kong, China and Taiwan,โ€ adds James Lee, regional sales director, Greater China, and head of the new office.

The branch office is located centrally on Hong Kong Island on floor 52/F of Central Plaza, the third tallest tower in the city overlooking Victoria Harbour and โ€œThe Peak.โ€

The celebration was also used as an opportunity to showcase the latest iCOlube and EAL technology during technical seminars.
