Conference Activities

Our traditional Welcoming Cocktail Reception on Wednesday night sponsored by Evonik Oil Additives is just one of the highlights of this week-long event. It’s unlike “receptions” at other conferences. A two-hour open bar and an extensive cocktail menu at Splash, located at one of Macau’s most exclusive hotel properties on Cotai Strip, the Four Seasons Hotel, make this reception a must-attend event. Free to all registered participants of the 18th Annual Fuels & Lubes Asia Conference. Spouses are welcome, but we do charge a spouse fee.

Our informal offsite sit-down dinner is something to look forward to during the week. Here, old friends and new gather for an experience to remember. On Thursday night, we head for one of Macau’s Portuguese restaurants to experience Macanese-Portuguese cuisine at its best. Situated in the heart of Taipa Village, the restaurant features authentic Portuguese cuisine proudly presented by one of Macau’s most renowned chefs. Taipa Village’s quaint European-style alleys, colonial architecture and antique street lamps, complemented with a growing mix of restaurants and bars, has made it one of Macau’s most popular destinations.

Other attractions nearby include the historic Pak Tai Temple, Taipa House Museum, colonial churches, art galleries and a variety of specialty shops. Taipa Village is also only minutes away from the Cotai Strip, the location of the world’s biggest casino/resort, Venetian Macao, and its sister hotel, the Four Seasons Macao.

Free to all registered participants of the 18th Annual Fuels & Lubes Asia Conference. Spouses are welcome, but we do charge a spouse fee.
