Editor’s Message

F+L Week 2012 is the most exciting conference I have organized so far! The Four Seasons Macao represents both the old (with its Portuguese architecture) and the new Macau. During the week-long event, we shall discover both the old Macau when we go on our historic tour on March 4 and the new Macau when we see Zaia, the exclusive show developed by the world-famous Cirque du Soleil at the Venetian Macao. Our offsite dining excursions will also allow us to try the various culinary delights available in Macau.

Since 1995, we have gathered industry stakeholders from all over the world to discuss regional and global issues impacting our industry. Over the years, F&L Asia has played a unique role in the fuels and lubricants industry in the Asia-Pacific region, setting it apart from other industry publications and commercial conferences. F&L Asia is more than a publishing company. We provide a forum for:

Developing partnerships

We have developed partnerships with other organizations such as the Society of Tribologists and Lubrication Engineers (STLE) and ASTM International, by bringing their education courses to Asia. We also support the activities of the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE), not only through our publications, but also through the SAE Asian Steering Committee.

Relationship building

Through our publications, conferences and education courses, today there is a greater awareness of our industry’s role and its contribution to Asia’s economic growth story and future sustainability. The F+L community is more vibrant today because of the relationships we have built not only with industry but also with various stakeholders over the years. Nothing beats face-to-face meetings and F+L Week provides the perfect venue for this once-a-year industry gathering in a five-star hotel. Identifying emerging issues
